What is a Blog?

What is a Blog?

A Blog is a type of website where an individual makes regular entries of commentary or description of events that may be accompanied by graphics and video. The term Blog comes from a contraction of the words Web and Log. It can be like an online diary.

Most blogs contain text, images, and links to other blogs, webpages, or media on a particular topic. Readers may leave comments after visiting and reading entries, so this makes them interactive. Blogs offer a way to reflect on what is important to us.

Quilting and Sewing Arts is a great arena for blogging. Visit some of these blogs and enjoy the experience. If you'd like to become a blogger yourself, there are many free resources available that will help you set up your own blog.

Enjoy!
