January 10 |
Autograph Night! Bring your own Signature Blocks to have signed by guild members - and a permanent fabric marking pen. We will spend time getting to know one another and collecting the autographs of our very own favorite quilters! We are suggesting you make nine patch blocks, using muslin or a light colored solid for the signature areas. You may, of course, make any pattern block since you will be keeping the blocks you bring! | |

|
March 14 |
The March Program will be our yearly Community Service sew-in. We are asking that members bring 2 1/2 inch strips of fabric to be used in log cabin quilts. We will also be having a celebration of Guild History Month. You'll hear the story of how the guild was founded, and how it got here from there! And, lastly, remember those signature blocks you made for the January meeting. Bring them with you! We'll be exchanging signatures! What a way to celebrate the history of our guild....by taking a piece of it home with you! Just a reminder that you will be keeping the blocks you make, so any size, any pattern is fine! Just leave an open space for a signature or two or more! A quick and easy pattern would be a nine patch using muslin or white in some of the squares for signatures. You could make Indian hatchets, stars, log cabins, anything you want! |
