Moonlight Quilters
2006 Quilt Challenge
Moonlight Quilters were challenged to create a quilt 12" x 36". Quilts must have a curved seam somewhere and use a minimum of 2" sq. piece of the yellow challenge fabric.
CHALLENGE QUILTS REVEALED
We had a total of 12 eligible entries (and one ineligible - unquilted top only) displayed for voting. While every entry was unique and beautiful, those who attended the picnic were forced to vote on their two favorites.
Taking 1st place, and a $50 prize, was Jo B., in second earning $30 was Linda B. and third place went to Donna C. who received $20. We had a tie for 4th place, Linda C. (quilt held by Nat H. in photo below) . and Linda S. and they each received 2 FQs.
Thank you FQs were distributed to all participants, donated by the Challenge Quilt Committee. Thank you to all who took up the challenge, and thank you to the picnic attendees for your votes!
