November 14, 2016-Elections

October 10, 2016-Our own Donna Carley will lead the group in creating a Prairie Point Ornament using fabric, beads, and a kit of other materials that can be purchased for $5.00 at the meeting.  Please bring with you: scissors, thimble, 8″ square of felt or batting for a work surface. Optional tools: 3″ lid, pincushion, wooden or plastic crease presser, 1/2 yard pretty ribbon 1/2″ to 7/8″ wide.

Kits contain: Styrofoam ball, 14-5″ charm squares, straight pins, E-beads, 1/2 yard ribbon.

September 12, 2016Liz Axford presents a slideshow on her work with Shibori, Japanese style tie dying.

June 13, 2016 – We will welcome Marianne Burr to our guild meeting with a presentation on “Adding Hand Stitch Accents to Your Quilts.” Marianne comes to us from Coupeville, WA with her beautiful hand embroidered quilts.  She will show how she uses traditional embroidery stitches in the Kantha style to accent and enhance her quilts.

Stitch class will be offered at a special time:  Saturday June 18th from 1:00-4:00 pm at the Hen House in Ferndale.  Contact Sherry Roodhouse Black for more information or to register.  Cost $20 per person.
