Now For the Layout!
Play around with the layout.
Here’s mine on a design wall, showing you where each unit is placed and in which direction.
- The 4-patch background squares (see Example A in Step 2) are in the outer corners and the center
- The dark ones (purples), which is shown as Example B, alternates with medium ones.
- The mixed squares from Example C, are used to interlock each pair of circles.
When satisfied with your design, sew the 4 patches together.
The 12 square strips are added along both sides
The 14 square strips are then attached to the top and bottom…..
….And hope this was a great mystery now solved!
