Our quilt show was a tremendous success and we are still basking in pleasure from all the wonderful comments from friends and community members. We had over 300 quilts hung, sold over 2600 raffle tickets for our beautiful quilt and 1150 tickets on our basket of quilting goods. Our tea room was a delight and many quilts were sold in our first attempt to make this option available to our members and visitors.
The money raised by the show will be used to bring speakers to our guild over the next two years. Thank you to our fine committee and to all the members who shared their beautiful quilts and volunteered to make it all happen.
