Tip of the Needle
Cutting Fabric for HST & QST
If you need to cut fabric for Half-square triangles or Quarter-square triangles and you only have the finished dimesions of the block here's a tip for you!
HST-Take the finished measurement. for example 3" square, and add 7/8". Cut 3 7/8" squares.
QST-Take the finished measurement, again 3" square, and add 1 1/4". Cut 4 1/4" squares.
