Here is a collection of tips that all relate to marking your quilt top. If you
have additions to make, please send them to the webmaster and they will be shared with all!
- Chalk markings or Chalk Pounce- spritz lightly with hairspray to keep the chalk
from rubbing off while you work. The marks disappear in the laundry.
- New Product Recommendation- Glad
Press'n Seal will stick to fabric and lift off without leaving residue.
Stick a piece to quilt top and draw your quilting design, then remove after stitching. This product will also stick
to printer paper and feed through your printer for one more way to transfer your quilting design.
- Slivers of bar soap make great marking tools.
- When using any commercial marker, be sure to retain any directions that come
with it. Some require removal with water before touching fabric with any heat.
