If you want your corners to fit snugly together on those Four Patch blocks or any others that have crossing seams, try this easy tip. |

Feed the pieces to be sewn into your machine with the seam allowance on the top piece pointing towards the feed dogs
and the seam allowance on the underside
piece pointing away from you. (See illustration below) This isn't always possible, but when it can be done, the pressure on the top piece helps to snuggle it into the joining of the two peices, rather than away from it as sometimes happens. |
